Tabular Form - Add Rows Top - Universal Theme

This old example shows how to add rows to the top of the tabular form. Unfortunately this doesn't work with the new Universal Theme. In order to make it working some small changes are required. See this example on how to do it using the new Universal Theme.

Enjoy.

Hey Denes! Love you work!

I get the following errors when trying to access your examples:
Error Application "31517" Page "215" not found.
(for the old one)

Error ERR-7620 Could not determine workspace for application (93000).
(for the new one)

Is this simply because I don't have a valid login?

Thanks!

Hi Denes...I'd like to try this but I'm using the Universal Theme and when I click your link (https://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=93000:602) for that example it comes up Page Not Available. Is it available somewhere else?
Thanks!
Janel

Hi Denes ,

Thank you for this solution.
However, After adding the suggested Javascript to add rows on top, the validation doesnot work as expected.

When there is a custom validation added on a field on the tabular form, and the data fails this validation it should ideally show the bad data filed in Red - Inline. But, in this case it moves to another page and shows error
"Current tabular form data is too old; the source data has been modified.
Click here to discard your changes and reload the data from the database."

If we remove the javascript DA for adding the top row , then the validation works fine.
I am not sure if I am missing something here.

Please help.
